If your idea of going out is to feel comfortable in the surroundings, listen to some good live rock music, have a laugh and not have to watch your back, The Vic is right up your street. They have bikers from as far as Cornwall to Scotland, Anglesey to Hull, just to visit , even abroad, they have had bikers from France, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, purely to visit The Vic for a weekend of rock music, ride out’s, and British hospitality, many come camping, some stop in our hostel, they have 25 beds.
At Greenvale Farm they don’t have a swimming pool, sauna or a party room. Instead, they offer the sort of personal welcome you imagined had disappeared. They have just one spacious room which can be either a double or twin – complete with en-suite shower and toilet. The large windows look out over fields and woodlands. Wi-Fi is in the room. In the morning, Sue will take great pleasure in serving you a proper English breakfast with eggs from our own chickens and produce sourced from our neighbours.
Thimbles is a pretty country home set in a 6 acre garden. Although on a quiet rural road they are only 1 mile from the nearest town with all the useful amenities. They are 20 minutes from Glyndebourne and the South Downs National Park. Royal Tunbridge Wells, Lewes, Eastbourne and Brighton are all near by. East Sussex and Kent have a large number of wonderful historical sites to visit. They have an orchard where our rare breed chickens live, a large kitchen garden where they grow almost every sort of fruit and vegetable, and they have a large lake with a bridge leading over to an island. The main garden has a circular rose garden. The garden contains 126 rose shrubs, consisting of 89 different varieties.
This is a really popular accommodation spot for bikers, if you are wanting a social hotel this is the place to head. They constantly have live music playing and entertainment events arranged! There is always loads going on here, so if you are wanting a hotel where you can make friends book in here.
This is a beautiful hotel located west central Northumberland, inside the National park and the Border Forest Park. They serve quality home cooked meals, offer lovely B&B accommodation as well as camping facilities. Bikers love this place because of the good rates and secure parking.
This is a beautiful cottage just off the A69, near to Hadrians Wall. The cottage has two double bedrooms, ensuite, kitchen and garden. This is a lovely place to stay over a weekend, location is amazing and is set up for motorbikes – with washing facilities for the bikes and secure parking.
This traditional country inn is within 4 miles of York city centre, making it an ideal location for business and pleasure. Enjoy a drink and a quick bite-to-eat with friends, a more formal experience in our contemporary dining room or even stay with us and use us as a base to explore the surrounding areas; including historic city of York (public transport runs every 10 minutes), Harrogate and Knaresborough.
This B&B is just a 15 minute walk from the Cathedral, Castle and historic Bailgate area. Allotment is a great place to relax, they have lovely rooms looking out onto the Cathedral and a garden patio if you’d like to have a drink in the sun. This is quite a small B&B with only 3 rooms (2 en suites), but their rooms are a high standard of quality – free Wi-Fi, cotton bedding, towels, complimentary toiletries.
This is a lovely venue, built in the early 1900’s originally it was a Victorian boys school. Here you will be offered a traditional Cornish scone with jam and cream on arrival! The bedrooms are really nice and they have private parking for your bikes.
